2025 Retreat

In September 2025, Relationships First NL, in collaboration with Chief Mi’sel Joe, hosted a two-day Two-Eared Listening Retreat at Max Simms Camp. This gathering brought together participants from across Newfoundland and Labrador to experience restorative justice as a way of being, grounded in relationship, listening, and collective responsibility.

This report shares an overview of the retreat, including key learnings, participant reflections, and recommendations for moving this work forward across communities, education, and systems.
